Proofreading services include the following: 

• Grammar and spelling errors;

• Syntax and sentence structure may be addressed but textual changes are not made; 

• Verification of  index to source material for accuracy;

• Footnotes are checked to ensure accurate notation.

Proofreading Rates:
Basic Rate - $3/page
Over 50 pages - $2.50/page
*Definition of a “page” is approximately 300 words per page regardless of spacing

Editorial services include the following:

• Proofreading services as detailed above;

• Analysis of content integrity and structure;

• Verification of style adherence for index (style as indicated by client);

• Comments on areas requiring further explanation or documentation.

Editorial Rates:

Over 50 pages - $4.50/page
